Nearly one year after a violent armed robbery at AJ’s Smoke Shop in Phoenix, police are urging the public to come forward with any information that may lead to the suspects’ identification. On July 11, 2024, at around 11:00 p.m., three young males executed the robbery, with one brandishing a weapon to intimidate customers while another filled a bag with stolen goods, all captured on surveillance cameras.
Detective Mike Fisher emphasizes the importance of community involvement, as there have been no arrests to date. The suspects, described as two males in dark clothing and a third individual whose specific attire was noted, remain at large. Police and the Silent Witness program are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for tips leading to an arrest, highlighting the critical role residents can play in bolstering safety in their neighborhoods.
