Erianah D. King, a 19-year-old from Peoria, is charged with armed robbery after allegedly robbing a man at gunpoint during a vehicle sale on June 15. According to court documents, King met the victim near Molleck Drive and Forrest Hill Avenue, where she demanded payment before pulling a firearm when he refused to comply.
Surveillance footage and a photo lineup helped police identify King as the suspect, who initially denied the encounter but later admitted to having a real gun. If convicted, she faces a prison sentence ranging from six years to three decades. King is scheduled to appear in court again on July 17 for a preliminary hearing, although a grand jury may intervene beforehand.
