Columbia Police are currently investigating two armed robberies that occurred on Sunday morning, targeting a Food Lion and a Pizza Hut. The first robbery took place shortly after 7 a.m. at the Food Lion on Harden Street, followed by a second incident around 10:30 a.m. at the Pizza Hut on Forest Drive, where the suspect displayed a firearm while demanding cash.
No injuries were reported during these alarming events, but authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. Community members are encouraged to assist in the investigation by contacting Crimestoppers at 888-CRIME-SC, as the search for the perpetrator continues.
