Lincoln Police have made a second arrest in connection with the armed robbery that occurred at Holmes Lake in June. Anania Ruba, 18, was taken into custody after police found two loaded handguns and various illegal substances during a search of his apartment near Southwest 27th and West South streets.
The robbery on June 22 involved three assailants who threatened victims at gunpoint, stealing valuables including a gun and cash. Ruba now faces multiple charges, including possession of firearms and controlled substances with intent to deliver. A 17-year-old boy, known to the victims, was previously arrested. The investigation continues as authorities seek to gather further details.
