Lafourche Parish law enforcement has arrested two men following separate narcotics investigations that revealed a significant stash of drugs and firearms. During raids on residences in Larose and Raceland, agents seized heroin, methamphetamine, six firearms, and approximately $6,700 in cash, highlighting the ongoing battle against drug trafficking in the area.
Shawn Meier, 35, and Ronald Franklin, 37, have both been charged with running clandestine drug labs, among other offenses. Franklin is held on a $275,000 bail for serious charges including the operation of an illegal manufacturing site, while Meier’s bail is set at $185,500 due to multiple drug-related charges.
