The indictment follows a tragic mass shooting during Mello Buckzz’s album release party in River North, which left four people dead and 14 injured. Court records reveal that Doyle, who has a criminal history that includes attempted murder and drug-related offenses, sold a total of 13 guns from May to July of this year despite being prohibited from possessing firearms under Illinois law.
Doyle’s interactions with ATF informants involved multiple transactions, including a meeting at his Washington Park home and subsequent sales at a Woodlawn residence. On one occasion, he sold three pistols for $3,000, with law enforcement closely monitoring the exchanges. Now in federal custody, he awaits a detention hearing as authorities deepen their investigation into the connections between his illegal activities and the broader issues of gun violence associated with the high-profile shooting incident.
