Dylan Hope, a 20-year-old man, is arrested in Deltona after committing armed robberies at two Circle K gas stations early Wednesday morning. During the incidents, he threatened clerks by brandishing a note demanding money and claiming he had a gun, escalating the situation to armed kidnapping when he forcibly restrained one of the clerks who attempted to escape.
The authorities were alerted shortly after the first robbery at 1:45 a.m., leading them to the second location where they found Hope still inside. Remarkably, the clerk managed to break free and flee, prompting deputies to arrest Hope as he exited the store. He now faces multiple charges, including armed robbery and false imprisonment, and is being held at the Volusia County jail without bond.
