Three Injured in Garden City Shootings

The Garden City Police Department is investigating a series of shootings that left three individuals injured and led to a temporary lockdown at St. Catherine Hospital on Wednesday morning. Shortly after 5:30 a.m., officers responded to reports of a gunshot victim in the 1400 block of Buffalo Jones, and it was later revealed that two other victims had been taken to the hospital in a private vehicle before the police arrived.

All three victims were transported to a Wichita hospital in serious condition, prompting police to explore potential connections between the incidents. The Garden City Police have dispelled rumors circulating on social media about an active shooter at the hospital, clarifying that no such threat existed during the lockdown. As the investigation unfolds, authorities are seeking information to piece together the details surrounding these critical events.
