Lexington Church Shooting Leaves Three Dead, Including Suspect

A shooting incident in Lexington, Kentucky, leaves three people dead, including the suspect, after he opened fire at a local church following a traffic stop that turned violent. State Police have identified the shooter as 47-year-old Guy House, who allegedly shot a trooper during the initial traffic stop and later carjacked a vehicle before targeting individuals associated with Richmond Road Baptist Church.

Two women, identified as Beverly Gumm, 72, and Christina Combs, 34, were found deceased at the church, while two men sustain injuries, one critically. The community is in shock, as the church was characterized as close-knit, with many attendees being family or long-term friends. Law enforcement officials are currently investigating the shootings, with Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear urging residents to support the affected families during this tragic time.
