Authorities in New Jersey have charged fourteen individuals linked to a drug and weapons trafficking operation that spanned South Jersey. New Jersey Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin announced that the alleged ringleader, Ryan Collins, 33, reportedly affiliated with the Crips gang, faces serious first-degree charges, including the distribution of cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl, alongside numerous weapons offenses.
Between July 2024 and May 2025, investigators seized nearly 2,400 grams of illegal drugs and four assault-style firearms, including a stolen Ruger PC Carbine and a privately manufactured AR-15. The operation’s extensive reach, involving a network that aimed to flood the region with illegal narcotics and firearms, highlights ongoing efforts to dismantle such criminal enterprises in New Jersey.
