Two men have been arrested and charged with felony robbery after a series of armed robberies in Connelly Springs, N.C. On Thursday, the Burke County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a victim being assaulted and robbed at gunpoint, with thefts occurring at both a residence and from a truck nearby.
Shortly after the initial incident, deputies tracked the suspects to a residence on Prysock Avenue. Ethan Trae Kistler complied with orders and was arrested without incident, while Kevin Blaine Jenkins initially resisted and required intervention from the SWAT team to be taken into custody. Kistler is held under a $75,000 bond with an upcoming court date, while Jenkins is currently hospitalized and has not yet been formally charged.
