This decrease has prompted speculation about the reasons behind the slowdown, with experts suggesting that gun rights groups are becoming more selective in their cases and focusing efforts on appeals rather than new filings. Alan Gottlieb of the Second Amendment Foundation emphasizes that despite fewer suits, they are strategically planning for future victories at the appellate level.
