The first incident took place around 12:30 a.m. on Mill Street, where a man with a gunshot wound arrived at a local hospital after the shooter fled the scene before officers arrived.
Approximately two hours later, police responded to reports of gunfire at Mira Loma Park, resulting in another gunshot victim who sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Despite the proximity and timing of the incidents, authorities believe they are not related, with preliminary investigations suggesting both stem from personal altercations rather than random violence. The Reno Police Department is urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in their ongoing investigations.
