Two men are in custody following an armed robbery in Moss Landing, where a victim was threatened with a knife during an attempted theft. The incident occurred around 11:40 a.m. when the victim confronted three suspects burglarizing his vehicle, leading to a chase by local deputies shortly after the crime.
The suspects fled in a car, but deputies quickly spotted the vehicle and pursued them on foot. While two suspects, identified as David Ortiz Calderon and Larry Genaro Martinez Escandon, were arrested, a third, described as wearing a black top and blue pants, evaded capture.
