Three teenagers face charges following an armed robbery that targeted a puppy in north Lincoln, Nebraska. The incident occurred around 3:50 p.m. when the suspects approached a victim, brandishing a firearm and demanding her 3-week-old puppy before fleeing the scene in a vehicle driven by another accomplice.
Police quickly identified the suspect’s vehicle and apprehended the trio shortly after. Remarkably, the stolen puppy was unharmed and returned to its owner. The arrested individuals include 18-year-old Caden Wenzl and two 17-year-old boys, all charged with robbery and firearm possession. Authorities also recovered a loaded handgun from the vehicle, raising further concerns about youth violence in the community.
