A 36-year-old man from Arlington, Texas, is sentenced to 33 years in prison for producing child pornography and illegally possessing a machine gun. Carlos Isaac Barrientos received this sentence from U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor after pleading guilty to federal charges in April 2025, highlighting the seriousness of his offenses. The investigation began when Bedford Police looked into a truck theft, which led to the discovery of multiple illegal items inside the vehicle after it was recovered by Arlington Police.
Upon examination of the truck’s contents, officers found several bags of cell phones and firearms registered to Barrientos. Forensic analysis revealed that these devices contained disturbing images and videos of child sexual exploitation, raising significant concerns among authorities.
