Among the participating locations is Pickaway County’s Stage’s Pond State Nature Preserve, which will host a special gun hunt, along with numerous other sites including Jackson and Hocking counties offering various hunting options.
Participation in these hunts will be determined through lottery drawings, and interested hunters must attend mandatory site meetings, with the first scheduled for August 16. Hunters will need a valid Ohio hunting license and will have opportunities to hunt both antlered and antlerless deer depending on specific site rules.
