Horry County Man Sentenced to Nearly 9 Years in Prison

Zuri Jaheem Stephens, a 23-year-old from Horry County, is sentenced to 105 months in federal prison following his conviction on drug and gun charges. The sentence stems from his possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and marijuana, coupled with the illegal possession of a firearm used for drug trafficking.

This case, investigated by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives alongside Horry County police, highlights the serious federal implications of drug-related offenses. Along with his prison term, Stephens will face five years of supervised release after serving his time, underscoring the strict regulations surrounding drug and firearm offenses in the United States.
