Three individuals connected to an armed robbery in Redford Township are now in custody after leading authorities on a brief but intense chase into Detroit. Michigan State Police tracked the suspects’ vehicle using Trooper 2, their aviation unit, until it struck a curb and became disabled, allowing police to apprehend them safely without injury to the community.
The armed robbery occurred on July 31, and the swift police response resulted in the arrest of three suspects attempting to flee the scene. Along with this arrest, law enforcement reported pursuing a stolen Jeep from Redford to Detroit, leading to additional arrests. The efficient teamwork among ground units and aerial support underscores police efforts to keep streets safe from repeat offenders.
