A vehicle connected to two recent shootings in Cincinnati ignites a police chase that concludes with the car catching fire in Silverton. Authorities from the Sharonville Police Department, acting on a tip from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), attempted to stop a Ford Explorer on Lebanon Road, but the driver fled, triggering a pursuit that traveled along Interstate 275 East and Interstate 71 South.
The chase culminates when the vehicle exits onto Montgomery Road, ultimately suffering an engine failure and igniting at the intersection of Orchard and Ohio Avenue. All three occupants abandoned the vehicle but were apprehended shortly after. Fortunately, although the Ford Explorer struck multiple vehicles, no injuries were reported. The ATF and local police are continuing their investigation, with possible warrants pending for the individuals involved.
