Despite immediate medical assistance, the victim succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital shortly after the shooting, prompting an investigation that led to the discovery of suspicious devices at Chan’s home, believed to be improvised explosive devices.
Chan faces serious charges, including homicide and possession of explosive materials, and is currently held at Santa Rita Jail with an arraignment scheduled for the coming Wednesday.
