Two men have been arrested in Salina after allegedly robbing a local resident at gunpoint, according to police reports. The incident occurred on Friday evening, where the victim described being pistol-whipped and threatened for money by the assailants, one of whom he recognized.
Officers quickly responded to the scene on S. Ohio Street and were able to locate the suspects’ vehicle about an hour later, leading to the arrest of 45-year-old James Floyd and 52-year-old Anthony Miller. Both face serious charges, including aggravated robbery, but authorities did not recover any firearms during the arrests, raising questions about the suspects’ actions. The victim declined medical assistance, while two juveniles were present in the home but did not witness the violent act.
