Paso Robles police have arrested 27-year-old Noe Tapia-Sandoval, identifying him as a suspect in an early morning shooting on Labor Day. The incident resulted in a gunshot wound to the victim’s leg, which is reportedly non-life-threatening, and appears to stem from a dispute.
Following the shooting, the San Luis Obispo County Regional SWAT Team executed search warrants at two separate locations, ultimately leading to his arrest on September 2. Authorities discovered an unregistered AR-15-style rifle at one site, although the weapon used in the shooting, believed to be a handgun, remains missing.
