The incident unfolded on September 1 when 911 dispatchers received a call from a woman reporting an assault, prompting officers to investigate at Kasprzak’s home in the Putnam’s Landing subdivision.
Upon their arrival, deputies reported that Kasprzak emerged from his garage brandishing an assault rifle, leading to a tense standoff that ended without further incident. He now faces eight counts of aggravated assault against a public servant and an additional charge for aggravated assault with a weapon against a family member.
