Stephen Allen Kasprzak, a Livingston resident, is arrested after allegedly assaulting a woman and brandishing an assault rifle at deputies on September 1. He currently faces eight counts of aggravated assault against a public servant and one count of aggravated assault involving a member of his household.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a domestic violence report and found the woman with visible injuries. When officers approached Kasprzak’s home, he exited his garage armed and pointed the rifle at them. After a brief standoff, deputies took him into custody without further incident, demonstrating a commitment to public safety. The investigation is ongoing.
