Authorities have identified two of the three men killed in an attempted robbery in Carmichael, California. Zavion Larue Dorsey, 22, and Wayne Douglas Doerr, 24, were shot dead early Sunday morning inside an apartment complex, following a disturbing chain of events in which one robber killed the victim before both attempted robbers were shot by an apartment resident.
The incident unfolded when an armed robbery escalated tragically, resulting in three fatalities linked to illegal firearm possession. Jaylen Davis, the 18-year-old resident who allegedly shot the robbers, is now facing charges for possession of a firearm due to a prior felony. The sheriff’s office confirms that all involved were armed illegally, prompting further investigation and legal action.
