The “Guns to Gardens” initiative takes place at two locations on Saturday and Sunday, aiming to mitigate gun violence by transforming surrendered weapons into art, jewelry, and garden tools.
This movement aligns with broader efforts across 25 states to decrease the prevalence of guns in homes, specifically targeting the alarming statistic that gun violence has become the leading cause of death among American children.
