The Metro Nashville Police Department has arrested a 17-year-old suspect involved in a violent incident on the city’s pedestrian bridge after his mother recognized him in news footage and alerted authorities. The teen faces serious charges, including aggravated assault and unlawful gun possession, following reports from victims who were threatened and assaulted by a group of suspects wielding firearms.
During the attack, which occurred over the weekend, several victims reported being subjected to physical violence, including one individual who sustained injuries to the face from a rifle.
