A man is arrested in Lehigh Acres for an armed robbery that unfolded during a sneaker sale arranged via Snapchat. Jah’marion Pigford reportedly posed as a seller of a rare sneaker, luring the victim into a dangerous encounter where he threatened the victim with a gun and demanded money.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was visiting friends in the area when he met Pigford, who forced him to hand over cash before fleeing in the victim’s car. Authorities later identified Pigford through a photo lineup and apprehended him in Fort Myers, where he was found in possession of the victim’s money. He now faces charges for robbery with a firearm and resisting arrest.
