Seven Hills Opens Bow Hunting Season Permits

Seven Hills, Ohio, begins accepting applications for its white-tailed deer bow hunting season, set to run from September 27 through February 1. To be eligible, residents and non-residents must complete an application, pass an archery test, and secure hunting permits from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.

The hunting program requires access to at least 2.5 contiguous acres, which can involve multiple properties, making it accessible for many aspiring hunters. Last season, 20 permits were issued, resulting in 26 reported deer kills. As the community approaches its tenth year of this seasonal program, interest remains steady amid ongoing deer management discussions in neighboring areas.
