Operation Golden Eagle 2025 has successfully concluded in New Orleans, uniting local and state law enforcement agencies in a comprehensive effort to combat violent crime and drug trafficking. This collaborative initiative, which included the New Orleans Police Department and partners such as the FBI and ATF, resulted in 60 felony arrests and the seizure of 39 illegal firearms during its month-long duration.
In addition to the arrests, authorities executed 19 search warrants and recovered three stolen vehicles, alongside various narcotics worth over $39,000, including fentanyl and methamphetamine. Officials emphasize that community engagement and cooperation were vital to the operation’s success, potentially shaping future law enforcement strategies in the region.
