Hasan Gordon, a 21-year-old man, faces serious charges after allegedly robbing a gas station in New Castle at gunpoint on Labor Day. The Delaware State Police reported that Gordon entered the Gulf station around noon, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash from the clerk, who complied. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident.
After eliminating clues and gathering evidence, investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Gordon. He was apprehended on September 7 in Wilmington without incident. He now faces felony charges of first-degree robbery and possession of a firearm during a felony. The police are pleased that this incident concluded with the suspect in handcuffs rather than further risk to the public.
