A juvenile in Louisville is facing significant charges for his alleged role in a shooting incident that occurred in Fern Creek last month. The boy, who remains unnamed due to his age, has been charged with complicity to first-degree assault in connection with the shooting that left a man injured on August 4. According to police reports, the shooting unfolded as the boy attempted to steal a car, prompting the victim to confront him, only to face gunfire when a suspect ordered the boy to “shoot him.”
Upon his arrest, officers discovered that the child possessed three handguns, including one linked to the shooting. Investigators also uncovered evidence, including a photo of the victim’s car taken moments before the incident, suggesting that the boy was deeply involved in a series of car break-ins tied to a stolen Maserati used in the crime. This alarming case raises questions about youth involvement in violent crime and gun possession.
