Police in Pinole arrested Odell Clarence, a convicted felon, after he was found with two un-serialized firearms, commonly known as ghost guns, during a job site inspection. The discovery occurred when an employer conducting a routine check learned that Clarence had a rifle in his work van, prompting police to investigate further.
Upon searching the vehicle parked on Fitzgerald Drive, officers allegedly uncovered a rifle and a pistol, both lacking serial numbers, along with matching ammunition. Clarence now faces multiple felony charges, including being a felon in possession of firearms and ammunition, raising significant concerns about firearm safety and illegal possession in California.
