A teenager is hospitalized following a shooting in a Marietta parking lot late Saturday night. Police responded to reports of multiple gunshots around 10:15 p.m. on Franklin Gateway, where they found the boy injured between two parked cars. He was quickly transported to Kennestone Hospital, although his current condition is unknown.
Investigators suspect that at least two individuals discharged handguns during the incident, but no suspects have been identified or arrested yet. Authorities are currently probing whether the victim was directly involved in the conflict or caught in stray fire. The Marietta Police Department encourages anyone with information to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
