In a recent traffic stop in Roxbury, the Boston Police Department uncovered a ghost gun inside a vehicle, culminating in a series of serious charges against the driver, Sandley Pierre Louis. Officers from the department’s Youth Violence Strike Force found the unlicensed firearm loaded with ammunition after stopping Louis for using false plates on an uninsured vehicle.
During a 24-hour period, the BPD responded to 198 incidents, including multiple robberies and assaults, indicating a notable surge in criminal activity. Among the charges Pierre Louis faces are unlawful possession of a firearm and operating a vehicle without a license, reflecting ongoing concerns regarding gun violence and public safety in the area.
