Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officials report the arrest of 30-year-old Chavieon Gray in connection with a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning, injuring one woman. Gray faces multiple charges, including aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, after officers arrived at the scene on Lesley Avenue and found the victim, who is currently in stable condition at a local hospital.
Through a combination of witness accounts, video evidence, and forensic analysis, detectives identified Gray as a suspect and located him hiding in a utility room of an apartment complex. During the search, authorities seized several firearms and additional evidence.
