Three men have been arrested in connection with a kidnapping and armed robbery at Daley Park in Tempe, occurring during a Facebook Marketplace transaction. Authorities report that Carlos Morales Andrade, Julio Reyes Alfaro, and Jessey Krych were involved in the incident, which escalated on September 27 when the victim was threatened with a firearm for money and personal belongings.
The victim was forced to contact a friend for $1,000, while the suspects stole items valued at over $1,120, including a graphics card and an electric skateboard. The alarming event has raised questions about safety during online transactions, emphasizing the risks individuals may face.
