Ridgecrest police apprehend 21-year-old Gavin Pitman after discovering he was in possession of an illegal FA-91 .308 caliber rifle on North Cisco Street. The arrest came as officers executed a search warrant following reports that Pitman intended to trade the rifle for two handguns.
In addition to the illegal firearm possession, Pitman faces charges for selling firearms without a license, trespassing, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
