A 41-year-old man, Nicholas Midgley, faces felony charges after police in Alamosa, Colorado, seized a significant cache of illegal drugs and firearms during recent operations. Authorities executed search warrants that revealed thousands of M30 fentanyl pills, suspected methamphetamines, and multiple firearms, including 11 semi-automatic rifles, linked to Midgley’s distribution activities.
Police conducted an initial traffic stop that led to the discovery of over 1,500 fentanyl pills and a 9mm handgun in Midgley’s vehicle. The investigation culminated in a second search, where officers seized additional drugs valued at over $25,000. The Alamosa Police Department encourages residents to report any suspicious activities as they continue to tackle drug-related issues in the area.
