A 33-year-old man from Warner Robins, Victor Casey Dennard, is sentenced to life in prison plus 20 additional years after being convicted of multiple violent felonies, including armed robbery and aggravated assault. The jury’s decision followed a four-day trial where evidence revealed that Dennard forcibly entered a home, held victims at gunpoint, and also carried out a violent robbery at a local credit union where he shot a teller.
Prosecutors presented his history of premeditated violence, including planning another bank robbery before his arrest in February 2022. Assistant District Attorney Greg Winters emphasized the danger Dennard posed to the community, stating that his actions reveal a complete lack of remorse. The sentence, delivered by Judge Nunn, ensures that Dennard will no longer be able to threaten the safety of Houston County residents.
