Authorities in Adams County recently seized a staggering 70 pounds of methamphetamine and cocaine, along with firearms and cash, during a traffic stop. The operation, which took place in unincorporated Adams County during the week of October 12, involved multiple law enforcement agencies and culminated in the arrest of one individual.
Following the initial stop, a search warrant executed at a residence led to the recovery of 20 additional pounds of meth, 1.29 kilograms of cocaine, several handguns, and a rifle. The Adams County Sheriff’s Office has not released further details due to the ongoing investigation, but the collaboration included members from various police departments and the DEA’s Rocky Mountain task force, highlighting the scale and seriousness of the operation.
