Two Arrested in Belmont Shore Shooting Death

A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a man in Belmont Shore early Saturday morning, according to Long Beach police. The incident, which occurred around 1:40 a.m. in the 100 block of La Verne Avenue, followed a dispute that reportedly began at a nearby bar, escalating outside where the victim was fatally shot.

The suspects, identified as 41-year-old Jason Loving and 31-year-old Dasmine Hall, both from Compton, face serious charges including murder. Police believe Loving pulled the firearm during the altercation before fleeing the scene. Their bail is set at $2 million each as investigations continue, and authorities are seeking information from the public regarding the incident.
