Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit are currently investigating a double shooting that took place in Parkville on the evening of October 23. Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 8:35 p.m. near the intersection of Taylor Avenue and Lavender Avenue, where they discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds at a nearby hospital shortly after.
Both victims are receiving medical care, and fortunately, their injuries are not considered life-threatening. Authorities have indicated that one individual on the scene claimed responsibility for discharging a firearm, while no further suspects are being sought at this time. The investigation is ongoing, and police urge anyone with information to come forward, with potential rewards available through anonymous tips.
