Two women are hospitalized after being shot in Warren County, Ohio, as gunfire erupted into their vehicles at the intersection of Lytle and Ferry Road. Crews responded to the scene just before 1 p.m., where witnesses reported a chaotic scene, including a contractor assisting one of the victims who was seriously injured.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Department arrested 31-year-old Noah Brandon Collum Bays in connection with the shooting, charging him with two counts of felonious assault. Witnesses played a crucial role in helping the injured women, with one saying they saw a city worker administer first aid as he applied a makeshift tourniquet. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, which they believe was not random.
