Sacramento County deputies have arrested 32-year-old Duke Van Le after he barricaded himself in a home and threatened to shoot family members. Law enforcement responded to the scene on Daylight Court after receiving reports of Van Le holding two handguns, leading to a tense standoff that lasted over an hour before he surrendered peacefully.
During a subsequent search of the residence, officials discovered three bottles of illegal narcotics alongside two loaded firearms, one of which was reported stolen. Van Le now faces narcotics-related charges and is housed at the Sacramento County Main Jail with a bail set at $500,000, awaiting his court appearance on Tuesday.
