Decatur Police announce that both suspects identified as “armed and dangerous” in connection with a recent burglary have turned themselves in. Cain Cook and Kamir Rasheed Thompson voluntarily reported to authorities on Tuesday after police sought public assistance in locating them due to felony warrants associated with their involvement in a burglary.
Cook faces a charge of Burglary – 3rd Degree and is currently held in the Morgan County Jail on a $30,000 bond, while Thompson faces the same charge with a bond set at $15,000. Notably, both men are also persons of interest in other violent crimes, making their surrender a significant development in ongoing investigations.
