Acting Regina police chief Lorilee Davies emphasized the dual benefit of this funding, noting that it repurposes money from criminal activities to enhance officer training and public safety. Renovations will include soundproofing and upgrades to training scenarios, making the range more effective for officers from multiple communities who rely on it for their marksmanship training.
