The investigation reveals that footage of the rifles in use was shared by Russian soldiers, including those with the Federation of Combat Sniping. Evidence also points to the existence of retail sales of Cadex rifles within Russia, with a certified importer reporting a significant increase in revenue since the start of the Ukraine war. The Canadian government has acknowledged the issue and is investigating how these weapons reached Russian forces, even as Cadex maintains it does not sell directly to Russia.
