Authorities report a dangerous high-speed chase in Zion, involving two men armed with a handgun retrofitted to operate as a machine gun. The chase, which exceeded speeds of 120 miles per hour, ended when the vehicle lost control and crashed, leading to the arrest of all three suspects involved, including 22-year-old Andrew Longo and 23-year-old Teaire Marks-Tyler.
During the pursuit, the suspects made reckless maneuvers, blowing through multiple stop signs and nearly colliding with other vehicles. Police later discovered a Glock handgun, modified with a ‘Glock Switch’—a 3D printed device that allows a semi-automatic handgun to fire in rapid succession—near the scene. All three suspects are facing multiple gun-related charges and are scheduled for arraignment in Lake County court.
